Deliverability: Getting Into the Inbox Instead of the Spam Folder

Even the best-crafted email is worthless if it never hits the inbox. A major technical plus we discovered during our KlickTipp test is their membership in the Certified Senders Alliance (CSA).

In simple terms, the CSA is like a whitelist for reputable senders. Large providers such as GMX, Web.de and others treat CSA-certified mail streams as trusted, which noticeably improves deliverability rates – especially in the German-speaking market. In our experience report, this factor alone can be worth a lot if you’re serious about e-mail marketing and don’t want to gamble with a low-quality sending infrastructure.

Based on our user experience and test scenarios, here’s who we believe will benefit most from KlickTipp:

KlickTipp is a great fit if you:

  • Value German-language software, support and documentation and care about German/EU data protection standards.

  • Have no budget at all and are not ready to invest in your marketing infrastructure.

  • Expect the software to write persuasive copy and strategy for you (it’s a tool, not a human marketer).

Support, Training & Learning Curve

A tool with this level of functionality absolutely needs decent support and education. While KlickTipp does not provide full-scale phone support in every plan, our KlickTipp experience with the email support was positive: competent and reasonably fast.

Even more valuable in our review, though, were the tutorials, webinars and training materials offered around the platform. The founder, Mario Wolosz, and the team focus strongly on teaching both the tool and the underlying marketing principles. If you’re willing to follow these trainings, the learning curve becomes manageable – and you’re likely to improve your overall marketing beyond KlickTipp itself.

Yes, there is an initial learning phase. In our test, the interface felt more like a “pro console” than a beginner toy. But once you dial in your first campaigns, everyday work becomes very efficient.

Downsides: Where KlickTipp Didn’t Fully Convince Us

KlickTipp vs. Other E-Mail Marketing Tools

We also compared KlickTipp with some of the best-known international competitors during our review:

  • Mailchimp: Often the first step for beginners, with a familiar interface and free entry plans. However, the list-based structure quickly becomes complex and expensive as you grow. Servers and support are primarily US-based, which raises data protection questions for EU businesses.
